Cathrine Saks and Barbara Potts draw inspiration from their upbringing in Copenhagen for their brand, Saks Potts, launched in 2014. The city's culture, design, and food scene greatly influence their work. They both live and work in different parts of Copenhagen, finding daily inspiration in the city. Saks Potts reflects their personal lives and is also inspired by the late Carolyne Bessette-Kennedy's style. The chic 90's minimalism and modernism inspired the founders to create garments that fit into a modern women's lifestyle. The founders' time spent in the Danish countryside, particularly in Barbara's family summerhouse, provides further ideas for their collection. With Cathrine's fashion design and tailoring background and Barbara's art history degree, they bring together technical expertise and artistic understanding. Their designs aim to create sophisticated and enduring collections that empower women worldwide.
