TANCHEN Studio is a collaborative venture by Sanchia Tan and Amber Chen. Rooted in textile-based practice, our work embraces a process-driven approach to design, with a strong emphasis on material innovation and tactile experience. Operating from studios in Singapore and Shanghai, we craft functional textiles intended to stand alone as expressive, artful elements within living spaces. Guided by a mindful ethos, we prioritize thoughtful sourcing and design, celebrating the possibilities of materials, craftsmanship, and technique.
