Anntian is a Berlin-Based label, founded in 2006 by designers Anne Hilken and Christian Kurt. Their pieces are made by small regional manufacturers and advocate a sustainable approach to counter fast fashion and fast life.
“Where light (sky and sun) and dark (earth and seeds) meet (sprouts and growth), colour is created and soul reveals itself. For beauty to grow, develop and transform, a certain amount of balance between many components is required. If this equilibrium is disturbed, an interfering image becomes apparent.”
The Collections designed by ANNTIAN always tell a story – Flora Obscura, the SS21 Collection aims to represent obscurantism, pessimism, disruptive images of our time to turn positive. May all the misunderstood miracles instead of obscure and frightening seem mysterious, wonderful and energising.
