Introducing CHUFY | Pre-Fall 2021 ‘Romania’
A seasoned traveller, Sofia Sanchez de Batak has always sourced and collected clothing from destinations across the world. These travels led her to create Chufy, a new line of ready-to-wear clothing inspired by her worldwide travels. Each season Chufy focuses on a new destination and its culture, collaborating with artisans to imbue every piece with the authenticity of local craftsmanship. Chufy updates those traditions for modern life.
For Pre-Fall 2021, given the global context, Sofia decided to look inwards and found inspiration by travelling through memories of her ancestors and her Romanian roots. The collection transports us to a culture and heritage, exploring it’s architecture, it’s craft, it’s landscapes and traditions.
