Launched in 2015 by the American born, Milan based journalist JJ Martin, La DoubleJ was initially created as a platform for Martin to sell her vintage clothing collection. What once started as a side project for the then Contirbuting Editor of Harpers Bazaar and Wallpaper has since grown into a full lifestyle label.
In creating her own Ready to Wear pieces, Martin works with the finest Italian textile manufacturers, such as Mantero, to reissue vintage prints from their archives. These vintage patterns are then given a new life in La DoubleJ’s contemporary Ready to Wear line.
With bold and punchy colourways in styles made from light, breathable cotton, La DoubleJ is a holiday season must have.
